First post ever! πŸ’•

  Hiii this is my first post on my blog! For my first blog post I will be doing an introduction to me and my gyaru lifestyle :3!  

Now for my quick intro since there is already an into page :3, my name is Lilly I’m a 19 year old girl I’m currently in art school studying illustration!  I’m into not only jfashion but jpop and idols, I’m a anime fan! As well as huge Lana del Rey fan! 


My gyaru journey 

I’ve been into gyaru and jfashion since 2017 but I never had the chance to really start wearing it till I got to college in fall of 2024! I definitely wear gyaru the most and I try to also be apart of the gyaru life style when most days I got out I will wear gyaru! I’ve always had somewhat of a style where I’d try to dress up every time I go out! I have always prided myself in being out of the ordinary and dressing up and feeling comfortable and not afraid to wear what I want in public, but when I tried wearing gyaru for the first time I did feel a bit worried about how i would seem to the public but after getting compliments and how I finally started looking more like how I’ve always wanted to since I was little, my confidence went through the roof. As soon as I started dressing in gyaru it has really shown me what I want my true style to look like. 

I have definitely dabbled in different styles of gyaru especially when I first started out. I always loved the look of Agejo and it is the style I definitely think is my main style as well as hime kaji, I would love to start doing hime as well but I don’t have the money for that right now :c. But other styles I’ve always tried to dabble in that just didn’t match my vibe as much have been Manba and Tsuyome Gyaru. When it comes to Jfashion in general I like sweet Lolita, and gothic Lolita yet I never tried gothic, I also really want to try jirai kei and I have recently just bought the first jirai coord!

Gyaru 101 (Makeup) ‧₊˚❀༉‧₊˚.

 One of the most important things about being a gal is your makeup! So having good makeup that matches the style you are doing is critical not only thing but having makeup that fits your face too! A lot of people say they don't consider themselves once they feel like they have achieved the right gal makeup!  I always recommend using experienced gals as a reference and sometimes if your reference is a Japanese gal I feel it can be hard to translate on your face if you don't have those facial features so I also recommend looking at both Japanese gals and western gals.  . . . ˖ . ݁πœ—πœš. ݁₊ Here are some videos to help (there are plenty more online to look up ofc) \ ˖⁺‧₊⟡₊˚⊹ One of my biggest tips for gal is finding lots of lashes you like for both bottom and top as well as getting a good white that shows up well and matte powered. ofc each different substyle will have different makeup so for what substyle you do I recommend looking what specifically goes into that makeup! A day out

 Hii loves I didn’t do much today (ﾟ∀ﾟ) but it was still nice to dress up and get out of the house.  I live in a very small town so it’s not like there’s much to do. But today I went out with my dad to get some lunch and go grocery shopping for Fourth of July! πŸ’•  …. Today I tried going for a more himekaji look but I definitely need to up my wardrobe >_< Tuna poke bowl with wonton chips!
